Imponderables of the day

Rocketboy, coming downstairs from a room-cleaning frenzy:

"How did this bag get full of pure mold?"

Hurricanehead, out of the blue as we ran errands:

"How many innocent people have died?"

Mercifully, the first and second questions were completely unrelated. I'm still not sure how to answer either one.
